This drop-in class is suitable for anyone who knows the two practices - Metta Bhavana and Mindfulness of Breathing. If you would like to come too this class, but don't know the practices please contact us by phone or e-mail so we can arrange for you to learn the two practices.

Great Buddhist Teachers of the Past .
Whilst taking as their root teacher, The Buddha, the Triratna Buddhist Community draws its inspiration from many of the great Buddhist teachers of the past, from many different schools of Buddhism. We will be looking at the lives and teachings of some of these teachers, sharing some of their insights, and gaining some understanding of how despite its external diversity, Buddhism has an underlying unity.

Level One Meditation Course
with Maitrimala
A comprehensive six week course with an experienced and enthusiastic practitioner.
Aim: Introduduction to meditation and support to establish a home practice. The course will cover posture, how to work with hindrances and how to cultivate more positive and creative states of mind.
Suitable for newcomers, people who have not meditated with Triratna (FWBO) before, or those who just want a refresher.
Dates: Monday October 24th - December 5th 2011 ( With one week break 21st November)

Monthly Saturday Morning Drop-in Meditation
Beginning 26th February - The last Saturday of the month- 10.30 - 12.30.
In this class we will be teaching both the Mindfulness of Breathing and the Metta Bhavana meditation practices.
Going Deeper
Going Deeper with the Dharma
This ad hoc gathering is for Order Members, Mitras and Friends who wish to go deeper, and who already consider themselves to be on the Buddha's Path. It is a chance to share our inspiration and explore alongside other likeminded people various aspects of the Dharma and their application.
The study group will usually meet on a Friday evening once or twice a month
